Gain the knowledge and skills to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
To receive a 2-year certification from the Red Cross, participants must stay for the entire class (including all videos and lecture), actively participate in activities, and pass practical assessments (one for adults and one for infants - these can be re-taken as many times until the student passes). There are no written assessments.
The class is free and open to ages 14-adult. Limited space is available so pre-registration is required.
